Can You Lose Weight on The Vegetarian Diet?

Yes, it is quite possible to lose weight as a vegetarian; however, there are many vegetarians who are overweight. Losing weight on the vegetarian is something that should be attempted with the assistance of a doctor because maintenance of essential vitamins and minerals should be addressed and monitored.    And while there are plenty of good and healthy foods and delicious recipes and spices that comprise a vegetarian’s selection for weight reduction, there is also a wide range of vegetarian "junk food" available that will do nothing to aid in weight loss.
